Camro Film AB started up in November 2001 as a development out of Camro Consulting and is focusing on acquisition and distribution of commercial film with a high quality mark. The company will be releasing around 14 new titles per year mainly for the Scandinavian market.

The company's first line-up contains among other things a new production of Orson Wells classical epos THE MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS and the critically acclaimed comedy DIRT which show the same spirit as you find in the Cohen brother's movies. The line-up is characterized by excellent and known actors/actresses as BILLY ZANE, MONICA BELLUCCI, ROY SCHEIDER and MADELEINE STOWE.

Everythings Gone Green
Wrtitten by ”Best-Seller” author Douglas Coupland (“Generation-X”). The movie will have theatrical premiere in the US in April through First Independent Pictures.

Weirdsville
By the director of the best selling pictures ”Pump Up the Volume” and ”Empire Records”. The cast includes Scott Speedman (”Underworld: Evolution) Wes Bentley (“American Beauty” and Taryn Manning (“Hustle and Flow”). Magnolia Pictures will release it theatrically later this year and Contender Enteratinment Group will do the same in the UK.
Variety writes: “Deconstructionists will delight in divining the influences that inform 'Weirdsville,' a cleverly constructed, capably crafted and often uproarious shaggy-dog black comedy that riffs on everything from 'Trainspotting' and Quentin Tarantino to 'Race With the Devil' and Elmore Leonard."
